Speakers

Speakers bring the energy to your event. Let us walk through creating profiles, inviting them in, and reviewing talk applications with care.

Creating speakers

Create speaker profiles with name, bio, avatar, email, title, company, location, and social links. This gives you a polished speaker directory right away.

Inviting speakers

Send an invite email and the speaker receives a secure link. They claim their account by setting a password, and the profile links automatically. Invite links expire after seven days.

Enabling applications

In event settings, toggle Accepting applications to let the community submit talk ideas. You can switch this on or off anytime.

Speaker application flow

Speakers browse events, apply with a talk title, description, duration, and role. New applications land in a pending state so you can review them thoughtfully.

Reviewing applications

Accepting an application creates a talk record, links it to the event, and sends a warm acceptance email. Rejections send a thoughtful note with optional organizer comments.

Speaker roles

Assign roles like keynote, panelist, or workshop leader so attendees understand the format. Roles help your schedule feel organized and intentional.
